Leaders with a strong coaching style create a high performance climate where staff are truly empowered to work to their true capabilities thus releasing leaders to concentrate on the "big picture" work.
By the end of the course delegates will:
- Have identified the attributes of outstanding coaches in business
- Understand what coaching is and importantly know when coaching is appropriate
- Understand and use the GROW model
- Have identified and practised the core skills needed to support the GROW model
- Have benchmarked their skills and set personal action plans
This course is delivered over 1 day and aims to maximise participation through discussion, individual and group exercises. The style is informal and the content informative.
