Meet the Team:




DAVID STORRS 

David heads up the senior management and business development team. He has over 10 years experience in the design and facilitation of various tailored management development programmes including consultancy and training in appraisal schemes. David specialises in the design and delivery of Negotiation Skills programmes for a wide variety of National and Multi-National organisations. Prior to joining MaST Ireland David worked in the corporate banking arm of the Bank of Ireland (Belfast). In this position he was responsible for and gained extensive experience in New Business Development and Negotiations with customers and staff management. Apart from his commercial experience, David has extensive leadership experience. He is one of Ireland’s most successful rowing coaches and is a former winner of the Northern Ireland Sports Council’s Coach of the Year award. He has a first class honours degree from Queen’s University and holds a Diploma in the Management of Training and Development from University of Ulster Business School. 



KATE MARSHALL
 
Kate has over 17 years' experience as a highly developed Facilitator and Coach. Most of her work is with senior management and Board Level Directors in a variety of large blue chip companies. Through her previous background in retail and manufacturing Kate has a wealth of management and leadership experience. Indeed, Kate has held various senior executive roles, up to Director Level, with particular responsibility for sales, marketing, staff development and business growth. Kate has proven experience of achieving results by developing high performing, motivated individuals and teams. Kate holds an MSc in Coaching and Leadership Development through the University of Portsmouth and holds a Post Grad Diploma in the Management of Training and Development.




HILARY ANDERSON 

Hilary is a dynamic and innovative People Development Specialist with excellent communication and facilitation skills. As a key member of the Leadership and Management Development team, she specialises in the design and delivery of bespoke development programmes. Prior to joining the MaST team, Hilary spent over 17 years in a range of people development, project management, coaching and consultancy roles in the public and private sectors throughout Ireland, UK and mainland Europe. Hilary has led teams through major operational change; project managed a range of training initiatives and has assessed the competency of a range of Northern Ireland’s Business Advisers. Hilary is a Queen’s University graduate, a qualified facilitator in SHL A & B Psychometric Testing and is a Mindstream qualified Coach. She is also a member of the Chartered Management Institute and The Institute of Leadership and Management.




ALFRED REDPATH

Alfie is MaST Irelands lead facilitator in Business Writing Skills with a wealth of experience covering all business sectors. His first career was in teaching at second and third level education. He became Head of Department and Senior Master at a major Belfast Secondary School before joining MaST Ireland in 1988. Since joining MaST he has developed a range of highly interactive and engaging Business Writing and Study Skills Programmes for all business sectors. His clients include the major Banks, Accountancy Firms and a range of Public Sector Bodies. MaST Ireland is now a market leader in this field as a result.  



LYNDA FYFFE-McFADDEN

Before joining MaST Lynda was a freelance consultant and trainer with 18 years experience working in blue chip companies. She has a track record in the design and delivery of company training programmes with particular emphasis on: management development; business writing; communications; change management; and customer service. She held a variety of middle and senior management roles in Northern Ireland Electricity, BT Northern Ireland, BT Retail in London, BT Openreach in East Anglia and was a change management and communications consultant at Transport for London. During all of these roles Lynda gained extensive experience of performance management and developing her teams. Lynda delivers training programmes and facilitates team effectiveness sessions for MaST clients throughout Ireland and is certified to facilitate the Insights Discovery psychometric profiling system. Lynda is a Queen’s University honours graduate. She holds the Chartered Institute’s Diploma in marketing; holds a PRINCE2 Project Manager Practitioner qualification and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. 





BARRY McDONNELL

Barry has been involved in training and development for over 12 years and is part of the MaST consultancy team delivering a wide range of financial, communication, leadership and personal development programmes. He has worked with major banks & financial institutions, Corporates, semi-state bodies and SME’s, both in Ireland and Europe. Prior to working with MaST Barry held senior managerial positions with the Bank of Ireland working in various areas of the bank, including Lending, Wealth Management, Capital Markets and International Banking in several locations including Ireland, London and Jersey. Barry holds a Certificate in Training and Continuing education from NUI Maynooth and also holds levels A &B certification in Psychometric Testing from the British Psychological Society and is a qualified Insights Discovery practitioner. He is a registered facilitator and trainer with Enterprise Ireland and is accredited by the University of Ulster as a recognised university teacher.



ADELE MARTIN 

Adele is a self-motivated learning and development professional with experience in people management, sales management, change facilitation and stakeholder management. A key member of the the MaST leadership development team, Adele is a competent leader and coach with an accomplished record of progressing individuals to higher-level roles. Prior to joining MaST Ireland, Adele held a number of key management positions within the financial services sector. In particular she has been an integral part of a number of strategic initiatives as both a learning specialist and as a qualified project manager. Adele holds an LLB from Newcastle University, a postgraduate diploma in human resource management from Napier University and is a graduate member of the CIPD. She is certified to deliver the Insights Discovery psychometric profiling system.

 




SHEENA VAUGHAN

 
Sheena is an experienced facilitator with excellent communication and facilitation skills. She is a key member of MaST Ireland's leadership and management development team. Prior to joining MaST, Sheena worked for 30 years for Ulster Bank Limited across Northern Ireland, Scotland and Republic of Ireland. Sheena has extensive people management experience ranging from small teams of 10 - 20 people through to an entire banking division. In these roles she led, coached and facilitated individuals and teams to deliver or exceed the organisational goals. Throughour her career Sheena has led operational teams through start up and major change initiatives. Sheena is certified and accredited to deliver the Insights Discovery psychometric profiling system.  

 

ÚNA McDEVITT 

Una is a highly experienced and engaging facilitator and a member of the MaST Ireland Leadership and Management Development Team. Una has over 10 years experience in training and development and has been a senior consultant with MaST Ireland since 2002. During this time she has designed and delivered a range of Management Development programmes for supervisory level up to senior management. Prior to moving into Training and Development, Una held a senior Internal Audit role with the Irish League of Credit Unions. In this role, Una gained extensive management experience, which she applies in her Management Programmes. Una holds a Certificate in Training and Development and is also a Chartered Accountant. She has Masters in Organisational Behaviour, a B Comm, a Certificate in Counselling, Psychology and Therapy and is qualified in Advanced Facilitations Skills and the IMI “Train the Trainer” course. She is a Licentiate of the Institute of Personnel and Development and a member of the Irish Institute of Training and Development.

 

SHARON JAMES 

Sharon is a highly experienced facilitator with excellent communication and facilitation skills. She is a key member of MaST Ireland’s Leadership and Management Development Team. Prior to joining the MaST team, Sharon spent over 15 years in the airline industry in a variety of key international operational, leadership and training positions. Working with people from various cultures worldwide, she led coached and facilitated individuals and teams to manage the everyday business issues to achieve or exceed the organisational goals. Sharon is a graduate from Queen’s University with an Honours degree in French and Spanish. She is an accredited coach with European Coaching Foundation, a certified facilitator in psychometric profiling and a member of International Coaching Federation.

 

GERRY MOORE 

Gerry is a member of the MaST Ireland Executive Coaching Panel. He has extensive experience of the financial services sector and has been involved in Executive Coaching in a broad range of Sectors at Director and Senior Management Level. Gerry spent 26 years in Financial Services with the Allied Dunbar Group. He entered sales management in 1987 and over the next six years built up a team of 50 financial advisors. In 1997 Gerry was promoted to Executive Sales Director for London and the South East. In early 2000 he took up the challenge as Regional Director for the J.R.A. Group in Northern Ireland. This was a ‘greenfield’ operation and by 2004, he had built up a team of 29 advisors, 3 sales managers and a full administration/compliance support facility. Gerry is a graduate of Queen’s University with an Economics and Accountancy degree. He also holds a PGCE and an MBA from the University of Manchester.



FERGAL O’CONNOR  

Fergal has over 12 years experience working in middle and senior management positions in both American multinational corporations and Irish Indigenous companies such as, DELL Computers, Seagate Technologies, Western Digital Corp. and Fitzgerald Packaging Ltd. In 2004, Fergal moved into the area of training and coaching and now regularly calls on his skills and experience he gained in his career to date to compliment the programs he delivers. Fergal delivers training programs, facilitates team effectiveness sessions and provides 1-1 coaching to a wide range of MaST clients across Ireland. He is an honours graduate of the University of Limerick, is an accredited member of both the IITD (Irish Institute of Training & Development) and The Life and Business Coach Association of Ireland. He is certified to facilitate the Insights Discovery psychometric profiling system and has also received a diploma in Professional Life and Business Coaching from The Lifecoach Institute.




                                                                    AIDEEN JEFFREY

Aideen is a highly experienced and enthusiastic professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  She is a key member of the MaST Leadership and Management Team.  She is passionate about development and strongly believes in the power of leveraging performance through personal accountability.  Aideen has over 12 years' experience in FMCG and prior to joining MaST she held roles as Key Account Manager and National Sales Manager.  These positions included significant line management responsibilities where she built a strong reputation for delivering targets.  Aideen has 9 years' expeerience as a consultant and facilitator of People Development Programmes delivering both Management and Business Skills.


                                                                       PAUL IRVINE

Paul is a specialist sales training consultant with MaST. Prior to delivering training he enjoyed a successful career in financial services sales. Paul entered financial services in 1987 when he joined the Intermediary Sales division of Standard Life Assurance Company. In 1997 Paul joined Equitable Life Assurance Society where he was a Front Line Sales Representative managing a portfolio of high net worth clients together with building new client relationships through highly developed prospecting skills. Five years later he was invited to join the Training Department of the newly formed Bank of Scotland Investment Service. His role included the design, management and delivery of sales training programmes to new entrants together with the ongoing training, development and coaching of the existing sales and sales management teams. Paul moved into independent Sales Training and Consultancy in 2004 and in that regard, Paul is MaST’s lead facilitator on sales programmes.

 



DENISE ANDERSON


Denise manages overall office co-ordination and is the first point of contact for general enquiries from clients. She has responsibility for management information systems and in her client facing role is responsible for course scheduling, Client Contracts, invoicing and credit control. Denise has experience of working in various business sectors. After completing a bi-lingual secretarial course she worked in Paris. She has worked in FMCG for one of Ireland’s leading drinks companies and prior to joining MaST Ireland spent 12 years with Northern Ireland’s leading fuel supply company.




ALISON McLAUGHLIN 

Alison is an experienced administrator and is responsible for the preparation and production of all course materials. She also manages the increasing volume of diagnostics which run in tandem with courses. She is responsible for participant records and manages the course feedback / evaluation process. Prior to joining MaST Ireland, Alison worked in the Hospitality Industry.





 

ALISON PRIDDLE 

Alison is responsible for the accounting side of the company and works on a part-time basis. She has responsibility for the daily management of the company bank accounts, supplier payments, salaries and the production of both monthly and annual company accounts. After graduating from the Universtiy of Ulster Alison has gained 15 years experience specialising in Finance and HR Roles, including 12 years in the South of England. Alison also holds a certificate in training practice from the institute of Personnel Development.
